Writing

I wrote my first zine when I was ten, and never looked back. Over the years I've worked as an editor, a university writing teacher, a writing tutor, a technical writer, and a freelance journalist, alongside publishing an award-winning novel and lots of short fiction and nonfiction.

What Ends

My debut novel, What Ends, won the Association of Writing Programs Prize in the Novel and was a finalist for the New York Public Library's Young Lions Award. The Sunday Telegraph called it "an impressive family saga" and the Daily Mail called it "a heady read."
